The active ingredient astaxanthin is one of the most powerful antioxidants. It neutralizes free radicals. These are responsible for the aging of the skin. Therefore, effective anti-aging cosmetics should definitely contain antioxidants.
Astaxanthin, however, is not an "ordinary" antioxidant. Due to its molecular structure, it is very soluble in fat (lipophilic). This is why processing in a rich cream or serum made from oil is best. Since the skin has a high proportion of lipids, astaxanthin penetrates easily and can develop its numerous effects in the skin.
The particularly strong antioxidant effect is due to its special structure. Astaxanthin has both hydrophilic (water-loving) and lipophilic (fat-loving) components in its structure. It can protect the double layer of the skin, which also contains water and oil-loving components, more effectively than most other antioxidants. In addition, astaxanthin is more efficient in its antioxidant effects and, to put it simply, is not so easily “consumed”. These characteristics alone make astaxanthin a true anti-aging weapon.

Apply to the skin mornings and evenings after cleansing the face and before the care cream. One or two drops with Massage gently into the facial expression zone. The treatment is also particularly suitable as night care for the eye area. Astaxanthin, obtained from the alga Haematococcus pluvialis and known for its characteristic red color in lobsters and salmon, has a unique antioxidant potential and neutralizes free oxygen radicals many times more effectively than other antioxidants.
